Business Planning Meet - Domestic...  
The year 2008 marked its beginning with a vigorous 12 day business-planning meet to chalk out overall business strategy and business plans. All our domestic field team members visited Ahmedabad for the meet and they were given a grand red carpet welcome and were greeted with garlands and flowers.

The business planning meet started with a vision sharing address by Mr. Sushil Handa followed by an address by Mr. Arjun Handa.

Mr. Arjun Handa's speech covered the overall business strategy of Claris and focused on the importance and contribution of domestic business in the overall performance of Claris. He placed greater emphasis on the culture of processes & systems, accountability, detailed planning and execution at a company level.
This detailed and micro level planning was developed by the field managers themselves along with external consultants who helped them develop the entire business plan. The plan involved various stages like sales planning, new products planning, marketing budgets, manpower planning and overall financial planning.
This exercise boosted the confidence and motivation level of all the people, who were then completely charged up to execute.

The meet also involved HR sessions by Mrs. Beena Handa and Mr. Shyam Sharma, who coached the entire team on various aspects like sales call effectiveness, relationship management, team building skills, personal grooming, communication and other competencies, which added to the confidence levels of each individual. Each individual after the session felt a higher level of self-confidence in the self and overall a strong bonding was developed within the team.
