The international business teams from all the regions including Latin America, Regulated Markets and Rest of the World gathered at HO for business planning. All of them were given a red carpet welcome and were presented with Garlands and Sweets. Mr. Sushil Handa inaugurated the meet by sharing the vision of Claris and its potential to achieve greater heights.
This speech was followed by Mr. Arjun Handa's address with focus on Business Strategy and setting-up the region wise game plan for 2008, along with an emphasis on the discipline of following Processes & Systems.

The following days were spent in HR sessions conducted by Mrs. Beena Handa and Mr. Shyam Sharma during which participants were put through various exercises to enhance team building skills and effectiveness. Mr. Nayan Rao conducted a session on PR skills and a synchronization session was held to bring all the front-end people and the back-end people together to build cohesiveness at the company level.

The business planning meet was followed by the launch of RACE - a movement that defines our march towards an exciting new paradigm and way of life called New Claris.
RACE was also formally launched in Latin America, at Brazil and Mexico. The central idea behind the launch and meet was to share the vision of new Claris, as well as to apprise our team and associates of the new strategies the company was planning to roll out this year as well as give them an insight on the roles they would be expected to play.

In Mexico, we launched RACE at Chapultec Garden. The Indian team members, who were part of the RACE launch in India, invited their local team members for the launch with an inspiring welcome note, roses and chocolates. Mr. Ketan Patel-RBH addressed the launch. He spoke on the New Claris vision, mission as well as on the sales performance of 2007. Performance awards were declared for the “Best Sales” while YHMI certificates were given away to five local team members.

| Last but not the least, different games like football and stick race were played out, by way of which the team got an opportunity to come together and compete with each other in the spirit of sportsmanship. |

The “RACE” theme was launched in Brazil with the release of balloons, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Indian and local teams, sporting RACE T-Shirts gave a warm welcome to the field team. During the launch, our team made inspiring presentations. Screenings of movies and games added to the flavor of the launch. |
